These are questions that teenagers and adults need to think about. We are faced with pressures from within and pressures from without all day long. The temptations may be strong, but we DO NOT have to succumb to them. We have the ability and the power to say "NO" to all temptation and sin. Christians are no longer slaves of the devil, because we have been redeemed by the blood of the lamb. We have been set free by His wonder working power. We are no longer bound by the chains of unrighteous, we are free to be who God created us to be.
It's time for us to wake up and take a good look at Jesus.
Some of us have believed a lie, because we've had our eyes on the wrong source. We've not walked in paths of righteousness for His sake, and now we are paying the price for it.
Sin will burn ya friend! You can't stick your hand in a fire and not get burned. Sooner or later, you'll be screaming at the top of your lungs for God to get you out of the mess you've gotten yourself into. We make choices everyday and it's high time we start making "right choices."
The Lord wants to direct our steps and lead us in the right direction. We should heed the voice of the Holy Spirit and walk in obedience to Him. We would save ourselves a lot of grief, if we would listen more intently to what the Holy Spirit has to say. He is not out to harm us. He wants to help us. He can't help us, if we don't allow Him to.
Don't compromise your walk with God for a 10 minute pleasure ride. Don't allow yourself to be sucked up in the enemies vacuum sweeper of temptation, lust, pride, arrogancy, and slothfulness. He's a liar, a deceiver, and a destroyer.
We must not continue to play games with the devil. He's playing for keeps, and he wants your soul to burn in hell with no hope of ever getting out. He will try every scheme and tactic that he has on his little shelf, in order to pull you back into the muck and mire of an ungodly lifestyle. Be strong and courageous and respond by the anointing of the Holy Ghost that resides within you. Don't compromise with the world and its lusts thereof. Don't compromise your Christianity for a lie. Walk in the truth of God's word and keep doing what you know is right. Keep keeping on for Jesus, because He will never fail you. He will never let you down. Keep your eyes upon Him. Stop looking to the left and to the right. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He has great plans for your life, if you will lay hold of His purposes and callings.
NO COMPROMISE IS THE RIGHT ADVICE!
Rise up child of God, and be the person God has created you to be. Stir yourself up in the Holy Ghost and devour His word. Hide it in your heart and meditate on it day and night. Be filled with His Spirit and walk in His ways. If you do these things, you will never be dissapointed.
